Spring Declutter Challenge: Wk 2 Task 3 Bathroom Cabinets and Drawers
April 25, 2025 3:42 pmSpring Declutter Challenge – Week 2 Task 3 Bathroom Cabinets & Drawers
Clear the Clutter, Calm the Chaos
Today, we’re heading into a space where small changes make big differences—your bathroom! It’s time to dig into those drawers and cabinets and let go of the half-used, expired, and “just-in-case” clutter that’s been taking up valuable space.
Why Declutter the Bathroom?
Bathrooms are meant to be calming, efficient spaces—but they’re often hiding clutter we don’t even realize we’ve held onto. From expired meds to crusty lotions and 12 sample-size shampoos, today’s challenge is all about simplifying your space and streamlining your morning routine.
A clutter-free bathroom means quicker mornings, less stress, and more ease in your day-to-day life.
Today’s Task:
Go through your cabinets and drawers and toss anything that’s:
-
Expired or discolored
-
Never used or almost empty
-
Duplicates (how many hair sprays do you really use?)
Downsizing Tip:
Smaller spaces mean keeping only what you actually use. Think: one of each essential and a small bin for extras.
3 Quick Decluttering Tips:
-
Group like items together—skincare, medicine, hair tools
-
Use baskets or bins to corral clutter and keep things accessible
-
Label shelves or drawers so everything has a home
Reflect:
A clean, clutter-free bathroom isn’t just nice—it’s grounding. When your space is peaceful, your day starts with calm and intention. Ask yourself: What items support my daily life? What can I release?
